The Venues

The Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah Civic Centres are centrepoints for their local communities in the Northern New South Wales region. With an existing 500 seat auditorium, these complexes are undergoing renovations to improve energy efficiency, stage capacity, accessibility and outdoor areas. In early 2020, Tweed introduced a social enterprise cafe as part of the civic centre and library complex.

Our Scope

Setting Line was commissioned to review and develop technical condition reports and upgrade budgets for both of the Shires major civic auditoriums.

Advising on the venues conditions, the existing specialist systems and equipment capabilities and providing recommending future building, systems and equipment developments and budget allowances to support State funding submissions.

These reports have formed the basis for successful funding applications and upgrade works at both venues are now underway.
