The Venue
The Tamworth Regional Council is working towards building a new Performing Arts Centre alongside the existing Tamworth Library and Tamworth Regional Gallery to service the greater Tamworth Region for years to come. The new venue will include a 600+ seat proscenium arch theatre, a studio style performance space seating 200 a new home for the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music (comprising 15 or more studio and performance spaces) and other tenants.
Our Scope
Setting Line were appointed by Council in October 2018 to be their theatre advisors for the planning and concept development for a new multi venue facility proposed for Tamworth. Our scope involves reviewing existing facilities, providing input to business plans, advising on operational requirements, technical equipment and infrastructure and assisting in the development of architectural concept designs leading to developed designs for costing and funding applications.
