The Venue

The Wonthaggi Arts Centre is the Bass Coast’s major entertainment venue. This versatile venue has facilities to host film screenings, performance and theatre, music and community events.

Our Scope

Another successful result from one of our venue condition reports. Having established the base line works and funding requirements and working closely with the Council project team, Setting Line were engaged to design and document the technical systems and equipment required to meet the condition report recommendations.

Completed in May 2018 this major refurbishment of the towns much loved arts centre has replaced the over stage rigging, upgraded all the technical control systems, replaced the seats, made vast improvements to the universal access into the theatre for the community and has provided high efficiency modern lighting and audio equipment. The venue now employs 3 full time staff and has literally turned a Council liability into a very popular local and regional asset.
